WELCOME:
Welcome to the Belfer Center Library. The library provides and maintains a collection of approximately 4500 volumes and 250 journals. The collection has traditionally specialized in materials related to National Defense and International Security research, but has recently expanded into Science, Technology and Public Policy research and Environmental Studies. All books available in the Belfer Center Library can be found in HOLLIS . We are open to all members of the Harvard Community.
HOURS:
The Librarian's office hours are by appointment only. To schedule, please email BCSIA_library@ksg.harvard.edu. The library is a multi-user room used for lectures, meetings and seminars.

The entrance to the Belfer Building is on the corner of John F. Kennedy Street and Eliot Street. It is also accessible from the KSG parking lot.

BORROWING POLICY:
Belfer Center faculty, staff and fellows may borrow materials for the duration of their research appointment. All books must be checked out before leaving the library. Current issues of journals may be checked out for overnight use only. Please be considerate to other and return materials when finished using them.
Harvard Affiliated students and personnel (with the exception of Special Borrowers) may borrow books for a period of four weeks upon presentation of a valid Harvard ID. Material may be renewed once and is subject to recall.
Journals are available for photocopy or in-library use. Belfer Center faculty, staff and fellows may borrow current issues of journals for overnight use only.
The Belfer Center Library does not provide interlibrary loan service. If you are a Kennedy School student, or a current Belfer Center fellow or faculty member please visit the Kennedy School of Government Library for interlibrary loan assistance.
