The Geopolitics of Energy Project at Harvard Kennedy School is excited to announce the second annual Energy Case Competition. The competition will be facilitated by Professor Meghan O'Sullivan, Director of the Geopolitics of Energy Project at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Students from MIT and Harvard are invited to solve the case alone or in teams of up to three students, combining analytical approaches to a pressing energy challenge we will see unfold in the coming years. If selected as finalists, teams will have a chance to present their findings to a panel of faculty, industry and government representatives.

The winner will receive $250 and a chance to brief their solution to a key policymaker involved in the problem in the real world.  Final round presentations will be followed by an afternoon reception, open to all participants and interested students.

Logistics:

  • Deadline: Deadline to register is 9:00 PM Thursday, April 5. Please register by sending your team information to: HKSenergycomp2012@gmail.com. Please include each individual team member name, email address, phone number and school.
