Frederick Iseman

Experience
Frederick Iseman is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CI Capital Partners LLC (formerly Caxton-Iseman Capital), which he founded in 1993 in partnership with Caxton Associates. He is Chairman of all nine of CI Capital Partners’ portfolio companies in various industries. Mr. Iseman has published articles in The New York Times, Harper's Magazine, The New Yorker, and other publications, and his writing has been anthologized in The Inquiring Reader (Holt, Rinehart). He is a board member of the International Rescue Committee and the Academy for Educational Development. He is a member of the International Council of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs (John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University) and is on the Advisory Board of the Nuclear Threat Initiative. Mr. Iseman is a supporter of the Yale Center for Genocide Studies, the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization’s programs on nuclear proliferation, and the Stanford/Harvard Preventive Defense Project. He is a Harold Pratt Fellow of the Council on Foreign Relations and a participating member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Independent Task Force on U.S. Nuclear Weapons Posture, chaired by Dr. William Perry and Brent Scowcroft. Mr. Iseman is also on the Boards of Directors of the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Opera and on the Board of Trustees of the Glimmerglass Opera. He has a B.A. in English Literature from Yale College, where he is a member of the Elizabethan Club. He resides in Manhattan with his two children.
