Experience

Jeff graduated from the Master in Public Policy program at the Harvard Kennedy School and served as a Research Assistant with the Preventive Defense Project.

An active-duty Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, he has served extensively in the Asia-Pacific region aboard various forward-deployed warships. Prior to his current posting to Harvard as a graduate student, he completed a tour of duty as second-in-command of the frigate USS McClusky (FFG 41). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from M.I.T. and also studied as a Navy Olmsted Scholar at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
