Experience

Shashi Verma is a doctoral student in Public Policy and a Research Fellow with the Environment and Natural Resources Program at Harvard University''s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Prior to coming to the Kennedy School he worked for an infrastructure development firm in India. He is primarily interested in the energy sector and has been working on issues related to competitive markets for electricity. He is currently developing a pricing mechanism to establish a competitive hydroelectric market in Brazil.
