Peter Bacon

Peter Bacon

Research Assistant, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs



Peter Bacon is a researcher at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School. His research interests include American national security policy, Central and South Asian security, and nuclear proliferation.

Prior to joining the Belfer Center, Mr. Bacon was a Joseph S. Nye, Jr. National Security Research Intern at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). He has previously worked at the Institute for the Study of War and for Professor Niall Ferguson as part of the development team for the computer game Making History II: The War of the World. Peter graduated magna cum laude with high honors from Harvard University, majoring in International History with a minor in Government.
