Experience
John Neffinger is the Director of Communications & Outreach at Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Prior to joining the Belfer Center, he worked with Former National Economic Advisor Gene Sperling at the Council on Foreign Relations to build their Center for Universal Education. Previously, as a Director with the Corporate Executive Board, Mr. Neffinger counseled executives at more than a hundred major companies in the U.S. and overseas on strategic management initiatives, and also did extensive speechwriting, public speaking and media training. He holds honors degrees from Harvard College and Columbia Law School, and formerly practiced intellectual property law with the firm of Debevoise & Plimpton.
