Tobby Simon

Experience
Tobby Simon is the President and CEO of Synergia, a strategic business consulting group with interests in Aerospace, Energy, Infrastructure, Telecom and Life Sciences. He is also the principal architect of Synergia Foundation, which works closely with the academia, industry and polity to establish leading edge practices in industry through Applied Research.
Mr. Simon is a graduate of the Harvard Business School. He is also a Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Tobby has more than two decade of senior management experience and has worked in both developed and emerging economics. He began his professional career with Hoechst Roussel in 19988 and at the age of 31 became the Vice President - global operations of one the largest Indian pharmaceutical conglomerate - The Lyka Group. He was awarded the Certificate of Merit (CHEMEXIL AWARD - Government of India, 1992) for his contribution in export to the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry. Mr. Simon worked closely with Nobel Prize winner Medicines Sans Frontier to validate supply chains for supplies of anti retroviral drugs from India. He has been a consultant to the WHO, AEDES (EU) and several international organizations.
Mr. Simon is an International Council Member of the Belfer Center of Science and International Affairs at The John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Member of the International Institute of Strategic Studies, UK, the Regional Director of the World Information Technology Association (WITSA) and an invitee to the Trilateral Commission.
