Meghan L. O’Sullivan is the Jeane Kirkpatrick Professor of the Practice of International Affairs and Director of the Geopolitics of Energy Project at Harvard University’s Kennedy School. Her expertise includes the geopolitics of energy, decision making in foreign policy, nation-building, counterinsurgency, and the Middle East.

Richard N. Rosecrance

Richard Rosecrance is an adjunct professor at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he is director of the Belfer Center's Project on U.S.-China Relations. He served on the Policy Planning Council of the Department of State. Most recently, he co-edited No More States? Globalization, National Self-determination, and Terrorism.

Brigadier General (ret.) Kevin Ryan is Director of the Defense and Intelligence Project and a member of the Center's US-Russia Initiative to Prevent Nuclear Terrorism. A career military officer, he has extensive service in air and missile defense, intelligence, US-Russian military relations and political-military policy.

Gary Samore is the Executive Director for Research at the Belfer Center. Prior to this, he served for four years as President Obama’s White House Coordinator for Arms Control and the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Terrorism, including as U.S. Sherpa for the 2010 and 2012 Nuclear Security Summits.

David E. Sanger is a senior fellow and adjunct lecturer in public policy at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Sanger is also chief Washington correspondent for The New York Times and is one of the newspaper's senior writers.
