Bringing Bus Rapid Transport to Lebanon
By Krysten Hartman, Program Coordinator, Middle East Initiative
Former HKS student Maurice Obeid, who graduated this past May with a Master’s in Public Policy, knew he was in for a challenge when he traveled to Lebanon last winter for his Policy Analysis Exercise. Harvard Launches New Cybersecurity Wiki
Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet & Society—with contributions from the Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program's Explorations in Cyber International Relations project—has developed a Cybersecurity Wiki that is designed to be a curated, comprehensive, evolving, and interactive collection of resources for researchers (not just legal researchers), technologists, policymakers, judges, students, and others interested in cybersecurity issues, broadly conceived. The general aim of the wiki is to collect in one place—and organize intelligently—important documents related to cybersecurity.

"We Shall Not Be Moved" Spotlights New Orleans' Rebuilding Efforts
By Tom Wooten, Former Research Fellow, Broadmoor Project: New Orleans
We Shall Not Be Moved, released in August 2012, is an account of how five New Orleans neighborhoods rebuilt in the years following Hurricane Katrina. Focusing on recovery efforts in the hard-hit neighborhoods of Broadmoor, Hollygrove, Lakeview, the Lower Ninth Ward, and Village de l'Est, author Tom Wooten, a research fellow with the Belfer Center's Broadmoor Project, tells the story of this rebirth through the eyes, voices, and experiences of residents who refused to give up in the wake of one of the country’s worst disasters.
