Harvard Kennedy School Announces Ellis Goldberg as the First Kuwait Foundation Visiting Scholar
The Middle East Initiative (MEI) at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs today announced the selection of the first Kuwait Foundation Visiting Scholar, Professor Ellis Goldberg. Goldberg will be in residence at Harvard for the spring 2013 semester, where he will participate in MEI events, teach a course titled, “Politics of the Arab Spring,” and work closely with Harvard students and faculty.

"Belfer Center Ranks High in Global Think Tank Survey"

For the third straight year, Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs has been ranked among the top university-affiliated think tanks in the world. The 2012 version of the annual survey, conducted by the International Relations Program at the University of Pennsylvania and released Jan. 24, ranks the Belfer Center second in the university-affiliated category, behind the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. A year earlier, the No. 1 and No. 2 rankings were reversed, with Belfer Center ranked first.

Harvard Project Conducts Special Event at COP-18 with Government of Qatar

The Harvard Project on Climate Agreements co-hosted, with the government of the State of Qatar, a special high-level event at the Eighteenth Conference of the Parties (COP-18) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Doha on December 6, 2012. The event was titled "After Doha: Balancing Adaptation, Mitigation, and Economic Development." Participants addressed, at a high level, the state of international climate regimes and prospects for progress over the next several years.
