Olli Heinonen

Before joining the Belfer Center as a senior fellow in August 2010, Olli Heinonen spent 27 years at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. Heinonen spent the last five years as Deputy Director General of the IAEA, and head of its Department of Safeguards.

Henry Lee is the Director of the Environment and Natural Resources Program. Before joining the School in 1979, Mr. Lee spent nine years in Massachusetts state government as Director of the State's Energy Office.

Dr. Allison Macfarlane is the chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. She holds a doctorate in geology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Abbas Maleki

Abbas Maleki is assistant professor of political science at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, director of the International Institute for Caspian Studies, and senior associate of the Belfer Center's International Security Program. He was Iran's deputy foreign minister from 1988–1997.

Executive Director, Project on Managing the Atom
Martin B. Malin is the Executive Director of the Project on Managing the Atom at the Belfer Center. His research focuses on arms control and nonproliferation in the Middle East, U.S. nonproliferation and counter-proliferation strategies, and the security consequences of the growth and spread of nuclear energy.
