Martin B. Malin is the Executive Director of the Project on Managing the Atom at the Belfer Center. His research focuses on arms control and nonproliferation in the Middle East, U.S. nonproliferation and counter-proliferation strategies, and the security consequences of the growth and spread of nuclear energy.
Hui Zhang
Senior Research Associate, Project on Managing the Atom
Hui Zhang is a Senior Research Associate in the Project on Managing the Atom at the Belfer Center. His research includes verification techniques of nuclear arms control, the control of fissile material, nuclear terrorism, China’s nuclear policy, nuclear safeguards and non-proliferation, policy of nuclear fuel cycle and reprocessing.
Josh Anderson
Program Assistant, Project on Managing the Atom
Josh Anderson is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he studied Political Science and Anthropology. Before coming to HKS, he worked at the Harvard School of Public Health. He will begin Master’s degree studies in Liberal Arts at the Harvard Extension School in Fall 2013.

Paul Avey is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. His dissertation examines conventional wars and crises in asymmetric nuclear relationships.

Tytti Erästö has a Ph.D. in International Relations from Tampere University, Finland. Her interests include nonproliferation, nuclear disarmament, Middle East politics, conflict management, and English School theory.
Sven-Eric Fikenscher

Sven-Eric Fikenscher's research focuses on regional security and arms control in the Middle East, status-seeking in international relations, and India's nuclear policy.
