Professor Rotberg is Director of the Program on Intrastate Conflict and President of the World Peace Foundation. He is also the author and editor of numerous books and articles on U.S. foreign policy, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Teresa de Almeida Cravo is a doctoral candidate at the Centre of International Studies of Cambridge University. She is working on a critique of democratic transitions in post-conflict states in Africa, focusing on Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau.
Sarah Zukerman Daly
Research Fellow, International Security Program/Intrastate Conflict Program
Sarah Zukerman Daly is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at MIT. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and a M.S. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Her dissertation analyzes variation in paramilitary groups' post-war trajectories and ex-combatants’ reintegration success in Colombia.
Kelly M. Greenhill

Kelly M. Greenhill is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University. Much of her research focuses on the use of military force and what are frequently called "new security challenges," including civil wars and humanitarian disasters, (counter-)insurgencies, and transnational criminal activities.
Patrick Johnston
Research Fellow, International Security Program/Intrastate Conflict Program
Patrick Johnston completed his Ph.D. at Northwestern University in July 2009. From 2007–2009, he was a predoctoral fellow at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC). He has published articles on insurgency and counterinsurgency, conflict resolution, and political economy.
Jennifer Keister
Research Fellow, International Security Program/Intrastate Conflict Program
Jennifer Keister is a Political Science Ph.D. Candidate at UC San Diego. Her work focuses on relationships between rebels and civilians, contributing to a better understanding of conflict micro-dynamics, which may better inform understanding both rebel groups and political settlements.
Yvonne Malan
Research Fellow, International Security Program/Intrastate Conflict Program
Yvonne Malan received her doctorate from the University of Oxford. During her undergraduate and graduate career, she won a number of awards for academic achievement and leadership. Before studying at Oxford, she taught courses on politics and philosophy.
