FELLOWSHIPS
The Program on Intrastate Conflict offers fellowships for pre- and post-doctoral researchers for one year, with the possibility for renewal, in the stimulating environment of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. The fellowships within the Program on Intrastate Conflict are offered as joint fellowships with the International Security Program (ISP).
The Program on Intrastate Conflict focuses on all aspects of conflict within states; ethnic/religious/linguistic conflict; peacekeeping and peace building; conflict prevention in general; conflict resolution, especially in divided states; all aspects of state failure and the prevention of state failure. The Program has current and continuing particular concerns with Burma, Cyprus, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, the Sudan, Zimbabwe, and other vulnerable states.
