The Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC), located at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, is the primary climate-change data and information analysis center of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
IPCC is the authoritative source of scientific analysis of climate change. Its members are governments, and climate scientists from all member countries contribute to the Panel’s reports.

Pew Center on Global Climate Change
Pew conducts extensive research and outreach on climate change policy. The site includes a page on the economics of climate change.
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)
The UNFCCC, together with its Kyoto Protocol, is the primary international treaty addressing climate change. This site provides background on climate change and information on meetings sponsored by the Convention.
United Nations-Sigma Xi Climate Change Report
Report released in February 2007 by the United Nations Foundation and Sigma Xi (an honorary scientific society) addressing approaches to mitigation of and adaptation to climate change.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Climate Change Site
EPA’s primary resources of scientific and policy information on climate change.
U.S. National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Climate Data Center
NOAA’s site is a major repository of scientific data on climate change, though does not significantly address policy issues.
Global Roundtable on Climate Change
The Global Roundtable on Climate Change brings together high-level, critical stakeholders from all regions of the world — including senior executives from the private sector and leaders of international governmental and non-governmental organizations — to discuss and explore areas of potential consensus regarding core scientific, technological, and economic issues critical to shaping sound public policies on climate change.
