Dubai Initiative Associate Justin Dargin is interviewed by Interfax Energy Services for an article on new energy policies in Kuwait. The article focuses on Kuwait's descision to effectively end development of nuclear power in the country in favor of long-term natural gas imports. Dargin is quoted on the impact this descison will have on the small nation, saying "Now that nuclear power is effectively dead, they are going to have to accept that they will have to import LNG on a more permanent basis and that this will be part of their future energy mix." The article stated that this decision was influenced largely by the Fukushima disaster in Japan.
