Justin Dargin speaks with industry periodical Natural Gas Daily about energy output, both oil and gas, in Kuwait. The article focuses on the disappointing oil exports of the nation, but also about the potential for gas production in the region. Dargin, says "Gas production is underutilised in the Gulf at the moment, but it could pick up significantly in the next five to 10 years and that the pricing formula is going to be reconfigured. When that happens, companies want to already have their foot in the door.” The article states that companies such as Shell are maintaining a significant presence in the region in order to capitalize on the future gas industry.
