Global Risks & Realities: Kennedy School Conference to Focus on American Leadership

Press Release

April 29, 2003

American military power has achieved a quick and decisive victory in Iraq; now the Bush Administration faces the more delicate task of using both its hard and “soft power” to help restore the shattered nation and rebuild its ties with the international community. Such challenges facing America’s global leadership in the 21st century will be the focus of a conference May 2-3, 2003 sponsored by Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and featuring Belfer Center faculty and researchers.
