New Faculty Feature: Meet Visiting Scholar Ellis Goldberg
Professor Ellis Goldberg is the first Kuwait Foundation Visiting Scholar. Goldberg, whose home institution is the University of Washington, was a Guggenheim Fellow at Princeton University in fall 2012. A Harvard College class of 1967 graduate, he will return to Harvard this spring following several years living and working in Egypt.

Bringing Bus Rapid Transport to Lebanon

Former HKS student Maurice Obeid, who graduated this past May with a Master’s in Public Policy, knew he was in for a challenge when he traveled to Lebanon last winter for his Policy Analysis Exercise. Supported by a grant from the Middle East Initiative, Obeid’s research for his PAE focused on generating solutions to alleviate heavy traffic between the cities of Jounieh and Dora, which acts as the northern entry point to Beirut.
